Community Care Creates Lasting Impact 💚

We did it! The last of our pre-sale orders shipped out this week. After navigating a few last-minute fire drills—including a switch-up in garment selection just weeks before printing—we finally received our final batch from our amazing print shop partners. Huge thanks to everyone who ordered from our flagship collection. These graphic tees and tanks were designed with intention: to travel with you to festivals, ceremonies, conferences, ecstatic dance, and beyond. Wherever you go, they’re meant to spark curiosity and celebrate the powerful Earth Medicines that connect us across cultures.

Last week, we launched a GoFundMe to raise emergency funds for our dear friends and impact campaign partners at Ecomunidad Nativa Kambo Family, caretakers of a sacred healing center and nature reserve in the Peruvian Amazon.

This effort began in collaboration, with permission and guidance from Uli, the late Maestro Jhonny Javá’s wife, to share Jhonny’s legacy and uplift their family during a time of transition and rebuilding.

Before launching our website and publicizing our work beyond this newsletter, we pledged $1,000 from our early product sales to help rebuild their maloca (ceremonial structure) and restore basic infrastructure on their land in the Napo River valley of Peru.

💥 Within 8 hours, 5 donors gave an additional $1,332

That means we began this campaign with 8,700 soles raised, over half of our 15,000-sol goal in just one day.

I’m working to find the words for how much that kind of immediate support means. More than helping rebuild some structures, you’re helping a family of wisdom keepers rise after an unimaginable loss, with dignity, sovereignty, and care.

💸 Where We’re At Now

As of today, we have raised a total of $2815.00 (about 10,020 Sol). This gets us closer to our goal of $15,000 Sol for parts and labor to rebuild infrastructure at Ecomunidad Nativa Kambo Family. Thank you so much to all of our supporters!

We have successfully sent all funds raised so far to Uli with Western Union. That’s community-supported lasting impact. Thank you!

Uli and her family are not just the first community we’re working with. They are foundational to the reason this brand exists. Our founder’s journey to the Amazon in 2022, his healing with Kambô, and encounter with Jhonny and Uli sparked the vision for what Earth Medicine Apparel Co. could become.

From the very beginning, this campaign was shaped with Uli’s consent, wisdom, and blessing — from celebrating Jhonny’s image in our centerpiece design to identifying this specific goal together. This land is sacred and ecologically vital, and we want to do everything we can to help ensure this land stays in the hands of this beautiful family.
